'Iron Crackle' Tea bowl
Cream stoneware, layered in two glazes that should be incompatible
due to maturing firing temperatures, however, here the clear glaze
lends its faster melting abilities to the iron rich glaze on top.
On its own the iron glaze has a dry appearance and wants to bead, though with this pairing the iron glaze flattens out and appears to have
a slight 'sparkle' in the sunlight.
